We are a not for profit/community led organisation that specialises in growing native trees using organic, peat free methods from locally collected seeds. These are nurtured until they are ready to be sold as bare root trees for hedging and woodland planting. We also grow and sell herbs and fruit bushes as well as grafting our own fruit trees which we sell in pots throughout the year.
Coeden Fach is also a place where people can volunteer and learn new skills. We are always looking for volunteers to help nurture our trees and develop the biodiversity of the site. We also work with a diverse number of community groups who visit our site for therapeutic work. We run training courses on subjects such as fruit tree grafting and orchard pruning.

LATEST NEWS –
Here are our latest Annual Report and Accounts for the Year Ended 31st March 2021
OUR NEW SITE AT CLYNE GARDENS
This lovely site is an exciting venture for us and will enable us to have closer links with Swansea, enabling increased access for our volunteers. It will also enable us to diversify and grow a wider selection of trees including some standards for street trees, in order that we can supply more trees in both the rural and urban areas of Swansea. We will also be supporting biodiversity on the site by installing bat and bird boxes, making habitat piles and creating 54 metres of new edible wildlife hedge along the boundary.
Over the next few months we will moving all our tree stock to Clyne and we are looking for new volunteers, so if you would like to get involved please contact Kate, Nursery Coordinator on 07831923244 or email us on email@example.com. You can also keep up to date with our activities by following “Coeden Fach Kate” on Facebook.
We are open for volunteering on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9:30am to 1:30pm at our sites at Clyne Gardens and Lower Hareslade in Bishopston. Contact Kate on 07831923244 for more details.
